Ingredients

  • 1 nonstick cooking spray for coating
  • 1 puff pastry sheet, about 8 ounces; frozen and thawed
  • 1 wheel or wedge (8 oz) Brie cut into 12 pieces
  • 0.25 cup cranberry sauce whole-berry
  • 0.25 cup pecans finely chopped

Equipment

  • 1 12-cup standard muffin tin

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Coat the cups of a 12-cup standard muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. On a sheet of parchment paper, roll the puff pastry into a 12x9-inch rectangle.
  4. Cut the pastry into 12 3-inch squares.
  5. Press one pastry square into each muffin cup.
  6. Place one piece of Brie and 1 teaspoon cranberry sauce in each cup.
  7. Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the bites.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden and the Brie is melted.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  10. Carefully lift out the bites and serve warm.

Notes

For neat portions, cut the Brie while it is cold. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; freeze for up to 1 month and reheat in the oven. For a nut-free option, omit the pecans.
